Visit by High Commission of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka

29 April 2014 – In efforts to further build bridges, foster ties and exchange expertise and insights with international dignitaries, KLRCA welcomed delegates from the High Commission of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to its premise for an official visit. The Honorary Rauf Hakeem, Minister of Justice dropped by Tuesday evening and was accompanied by His Excellency Ibrahim Ansar (High Commissioner of Sri Lanka), Mr Salman (Consultant to the Hon. Minister) and Mr M.R. Hassen (Minister’s Counsellor).

The delegates were welcomed by KLRCA’s Director, Datuk Sundra Rajoo for a brief introductory coffee table chat. Mr Faris Shehabi, KLRCA’s Senior International Case Counsel then took to the floor to present a comprehensive coverage on KLRCA’s background, functions and methods of operation. Upon trading questions and views to understand both parties better, both sets of senior officials then adjourned to the current work site of KLRCA’s imminent brand new building, Bangunan Sulaiman for an extensive tour around the state of the art facility to mark the finale of an effectual official visit.
