AIAC’s September Sports Month 2021
We are pleased to invite all sports enthusiasts to join the AIAC’s fourth edition and annual September Sports Month 2021. This year’s event will feature 4 free webinars on a range of interesting topics, including “Sports and Mental Health”, the “Sun Yang Case”, “Women in Sports”, and the “Standard of Proof in Doping”.
Further, we are pleased to offer two virtual workshops on the “CAS Framework” and “CAS Mediator”, which will be conducted by some of the leading industry experts in sports arbitration and mediation.
The AIAC September Sports Month 2021 will also feature 4 free interactive and fun “Virtual Fitness Sessions”, which will feature some familiar names in the ADR and sports industry, and we will round off the month with the “Great Sports Debate: The Sequel.”
To get the ball rolling, the AIAC September Sports Month 2021 will kick off with a special featured webinar, titled “United by Sports Arbitration: A reflection on the Tokyo Olympic 2020” on Thursday, 2nd September 2021 at 6:00p.m. MYT (+8 GMT). This featured webinar will include a special appearance from Michael B. Lenard (President of CAS Ad Hoc Division at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games), who will analyse the decisions of the CAS Ad Hoc Division in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics 2020. Further, renowned CAS arbitrators, namely Dr. Ismail Selim and Dr. Annabelle Bennett will be interviewed by Chiann Bao on their experience in serving as Ad Hoc arbitrators in the midst of a pandemic-ridden Olympic Games.
