Diversity in Arbitration Week 2021 : Charting the Way - Are We Still #ChartingTheWay? - A Live Debate
The AIAC is pleased to launch its Diversity in Arbitration Week 2021 titled “Charting the Way” from 5th - 9th July 2021.
This second edition will showcase 3-4 interviews daily focusing on the personal journeys of featured arbitration practitioners in embracing diversity and overcoming any adversity to reach the height they have in international arbitration.
On Thursday, 8th July 2021, we will have an entertaining and thought-provoking live debate on the "Are We Still #ChartingTheWay?” in collaboration with the ICCA Cross-Institutional Taskforce on Gender Diversity.
The proliferation of discourse on diversity can, at times, make us wonder whether the diversity and inclusion goal in international arbitration is a fanciful ideal or a realistic and measurable target. Moderated by Ms. Louise Barrington (Independent Arbitrator and Mediator), join us for this live debate featuring Ms. Jennifer Ivers (White & Case LLP), Ms. Lilien Wong (Shearn Delamore & Co.), Ms. Ashley Jones (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP), and Mr. Daniel Chua (Herbert Smith Freehills LLP) as they discuss whether we are still #ChartingtheWay to achieve diversity in international arbitration. An event not be missed!
